Welcome!
My name is Durai Schell (Haakstad) and I am a local to Grande Prairie, Alberta. I first came across Social Media Management when I was working for Browns Socialhouse Westgate and going to school for my Business Administration (BA) Diploma. I saw on opportunity and went for it - I asked my manager if they would allow me to take on their Social Media and it took off from there. After completing my BA Diploma at Grande Prairie Regional College I went on to complete my Bachelor of Management, with a major in marketing, at the University of Lethbridge (Calgary Campus).
Throughout school I continued managing Browns Socialhouse Westgate's page and added my Management Students’ society page as well as a local sugaring business. Since graduating I have returned home and started up Social HAAK.
I have had the opportunity of working with a variety of businesses and non-profit groups to increase their social media presence, create organic engagement on their pages and spread brand awareness throughout their communities. I look forward to growing your business organically through the power of Social Media!
